Sporting fixtures are already well underway for this academic year - many thanks to all the children for their enthusiasm and participation and the parents and grown-ups for their support.
The Netball (Hi Fives) team played their first match of the league last week on Tuesday 20th September against Abberley. With over half the the team as brand new players, Great Witley met the challenge with great determination, with a final score of 10-3 to Abberley.
Today, Year 5 and 6 children have attended a Tag Rugby festival at Tenbury High School. They played matches against Abberley (1-0 to Abberley), Tenbury (3-2 to Great Witley), Orleton (1-0 to Orleton) and Clifton A (1-1) and B teams (2-0 to Great Witley). A huge well done to the team, who worked together for these fantastic results.
Our next event is the first Football league match of the year on Monday 3rd October, against Broadwas and Clifton Primaries.
