Coach loads of supporters, including two from Great Witley and Martley, travelled down to Twickenham on the day of the Premiership Grand Final to watch a superb demonstration of tag rugby by the Great Witley Under 9s team.
There were teams from fourteen primary schools from all over the country taking part in the MBNA Tackling Numbers demonstration. The Great Witley team was involved in one of the seven games, against a primary school from Chester.
The ten children - Kerry, Rosanna, Ellie, Kate, Holly, Zach, Joe, Alfie, Harry and Adam - started where they'd left off at Sixways. They played some really fast, attacking rugby and won the game 4-1.
After the game, the team took part in a parade around the outside of the pitch before settling down to watch the boys from Saracens and Leicester play a different form of the game.
Thanks to all the parents, brothers, sisters and teachers who travelled down to support the children. It was a great day!
