Willow class’s subject this term is dinosaurs. They went to a dinosaur museum (Dudley Dinosaur Museum) on Friday 3rd October 2014. They saw a model T-Rex; discovered dinosaur bones; found fossils and portend eggs; played some dinosaur making games and found some dinosaur eggs.
On Wednesday 8th October, they had their assembly to the whole school and some lucky parents. They showed us the pictures from the dinosaur museum; sang a song (called ‘all around the swamp’) and told us the story of Tyrannosaurus Drip. They did a very good dance all about very scary dinosaur the music was, ‘The Dinosaur Stomp’ which they danced to.
They made a dinosaur in Forest School and called it Daisy. Daisy is lots of colours: red, yellow, orange and green, it looks just like a T-Rex.
In their Learning Journals they have done lots of writing about Tyrannosaurus Drip’s features (it is a dinosaur). They have also made a rhyme, drawn dinosaurs and researched what the dinosaurs eat and where they laid their eggs.
