On Thursday 23rd October 2014, Apple class went to Great Witley Church. It was amazing! When we got there we were amazed by how beautiful it is and how big the paintings are!
A kind man, named Ian showed us all around the Crypt, which is underneath the church. In the Crypt were coffins, we saw how the old clock works and a replica old coffin (with no one in it!)
We also, stayed outside and sketched the outside of the church. Once we were inside the church, we discovered nearly everything was made out of gold! After that, we went outside and put our wellies on for the walk back to school.
When we got back to school, we washed our hands, took off our very muddy wellies, went into the class, had a biscuit and some squash. What a wonderful morning we had!
The church trip was amazing!
