On Tuesday 11th November after play time, we all went outside to have a one minute silence to remember all the soldiers who have died in the wars. Mrs Banford rung the bell and we were all silent for a minute; then Mrs Banford rang the bell again, we then returned to work in our classes.
Mrs Banford’s mum made our school a wreath, we then added six poppies to it to represent our six classes. A small group of children and Mrs Banford walked up to the war memorial opposite our school (in the old church garden), to place our wreath on the memorial. Please take time to see it if you are driving or walking past.
