Concert with Valentines Choir

The school choir and instrumentalists joined the Valentines Ladies Choir from Kidderminster to perform a concert at Great Witley Church. The ladies of the Valentines Choir sang a varied selection of songs before and after the interval, and the children demonstrated their very impressive musical talents. The choir performed the Haka and selected songs from David’s Rock! Goliath’s Roll. They were wonderful! The instrumentalists - Abi, Alex and Thomas, playing clarinets, Anna playing saxophone, Harry and Oakley, playing guitars, and Izzy, Kaitlin and Thomas, playing the piano - were absolutely superb and left the audience spellbound! Jonah then gave an inspiring rendition of If by Rudyard Kipling. Finally, the children joined the ladies to sing.
Congratulations and thanks to all the children who took part and to Mrs Riddleston for all her hard work. It was a truly memorable evening!
